Fernando Aguzzoli Peres

Biography
Fernando left university and his job as a young adult to care for his grandmother, who lived with Alzheimer's disease. Through that experience, he learned to face the daily challenges of dementia with compassion, humor, and lightness. He has since authored five books on the topic, with over 500,000 copies sold.
Fernando is a Senior Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health at the GBHI – Trinity College Dublin, a Senior Fellow of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative, by the U.S. Department of State, and serves as the Institutional Director of the International Longevity Centre Brazil (ILC-BR).
